Christopher M. Harvey is the managing partner of the law firm Harvey Ballard & Bornstein, LLC and is of Counsel to the law firm Harvey, Casterline & Vallini, LLP with offices throughout South Carolina. Mr. Harvey is a Professor of Law with the Adjunct Faculty of the Graduate Tax Program at the Villanova University School of Law where he teaches Federal Wealth Transfer Taxation, Fundamentals of Lifetime Estate Planning Transfers, Decedents’ Estates and Trusts, Post-Mortem Estate Planning, and Income Taxation of Trusts and Estates.
Mr. Harvey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Delaware, a Juris Doctor from Villanova University and a Master of Laws in Taxation from Villanova University.
Mr. Harvey’s combined backgrounds in Accounting and Law serves him well in representing his clients in the areas of Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Tax Planning. Chris represents senior management of “Fortune 500” companies, closely-held business owners, and high net worth individuals.
In addition to leading numerous continuing education seminars for accountants and attorneys, Mr. Harvey serves on the Board of Directors for Northwestern Human Services Foundation, Inc.
Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Harvey was a Certified Public Accountant with Price Waterhouse, LLP in New York and worked with the Derivatives Group of Chase Manhattan Bank in New York.
Mr. Harvey is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
